1 Samuel 26

12 So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's head, and they got away. And no man saw it, nor knew it, neither did any awake, for they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from LORD was fallen upon them.

12 So David took the spear and the water jar from right beside Saul's head, and he and Abishai left. No one saw it or knew what had happened or even woke up---they were all sound asleep, because the LORD had sent a heavy sleep on them all.

12 David took the spear and the water jar, then left the camp. None of Saul’s soldiers knew what had happened or even woke up — the LORD had made all of them fall sound asleep.
