12 and to those [repairing] the wall, and to hewers of stone, and to buy wood and hewn stones to strengthen the breach of the house of JEHOVAH, and for all that goeth out on the house, to strengthen it.

12 The amount thus realized they turned over to the workers assigned to the house of the Lord. They in turn would pay it to the carpenters and builders working in the house of the Lord,

12 the masons, and the stone cutters, buy the timber and the stones used in the repairs, and pay all other necessary expenses.

12 They used that money to pay the stoneworkers and stonecutters, and they used it to buy timber, cut stone, and everything else to repair the LORD’S Temple.
