Amos 1

9 Thus says the Lord:For three crimes of Tyre, and now four— I will not take it back— Because they handed over an entire population to Edom, and did not remember their covenant of brotherhood, [7]

Amos 1

9 The LORD says, "The people of Tyre have sinned again and again, and for this I will certainly punish them. They carried off a whole nation into exile in the land of Edom, and did not keep the treaty of friendship they had made.

9 This is what the LORD says: “I will definitely punish the people of Tyre[11] for the many crimes they did. They took an entire nation and sent them as slaves to Edom. They did not remember the agreement they had made with their brothers.[12]

9 Thus said יהוה, “For three transgressions of Tsor, and for four, I do not turn it back, because they surrendered an entire exile to Eḏom, and did not remember the brotherly covenant.

9 Thus says ADONAI: For three crimes of Tyre, even for four, I will not relent. For they gave an entire population over to Edom, and did not remember the covenant of brothers.

9 The LORD said: I will punish Phoenicia [17] for countless crimes, and I won’t change my mind. They broke their treaty and dragged off my people [18] from town after town to sell them as slaves to the Edomites.

9 This is what the LORD says: Because Tyre has committed three crimes, and now a fourth crime, I will not change my plans. The Tyrians have handed all the people over to the Edomites. The Tyrians didn't remember their treaty with their relatives.
