1 After Moses, the servant of the Lord, had died, the Lord said to Moses' aide Joshua, son of Nun:

1 After the death of the LORD's servant Moses, the LORD spoke to Moses' helper, Joshua son of Nun.

1 Moses was the LORD’S servant, and Joshua son of Nun was Moses’ helper. After Moses died, the LORD spoke to Joshua and said,
