Judges 1

14 And in the strength of the Lord they did contend against their enemies, until they had slain many thousands of the Lamanites. And it came to pass that they did contend against the Lamanites until they had driven them out of all the lands of their inheritance.

14 On the wedding day Othniel urged her to ask her father for a field. She got down from her donkey, and Caleb asked her what she wanted.

14 Right after the wedding, Achsah started telling Othniel that he [6] ought to ask her father for a field. She went to see her father, and while she was getting down from [7] her donkey, Caleb asked, “What’s bothering you?”

14 Now it came about when she came to him, she had persuaded Othniel to ask her father for a field. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you need?”

14 And it came to be, when she came in, that she urged him to ask her father for a field. And when she got off from her donkey, Kalĕḇ said to her, “What is the matter?”

14 Acsah went to live with Othniel. Othniel told Acsah[3] to ask her father for some land. She went to her father. When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What is wrong?”

14 When she came to him, she induced him to ask her father for some land. Then, as she alighted from the donkey, Caleb asked her, "What do you want?"

14 And it came to pass, when she came to him , that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?

14 And it came to pass when he took her that he persuaded her to ask her father for land to cultivate. And she lighted from off [her] ass, and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?
