27 God’s Case Against the House of Eli A man of God came to Eli and said to him, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Did I not plainly reveal Myself to the house of your father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

27 A man of God came to Eli and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Did I reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

27 A man of God came to Eli, and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Did I reveal myself to the house of your father, when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house?

27 A man of God came to ‘Eli and told him, “Here is what ADONAI says: ‘Didn’t I reveal myself to your ancestor’s clan when they were in Egypt, serving as slaves in Pharaoh’s household?

27 A man of God came to Eli and said to him, Thus has the Lord said: I plainly revealed Myself to the house of your father [forefather Aaron] when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh’s house.
