Habakkuk 1

12 [Are] You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, You have ordained them for judgment; and, my Rock, You have established them for correction.

12 Are not You from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, You have appointed [the Chaldean] to execute [Your] judgment, and You, O Rock, have established him for chastisement and correction. ⓒ

12 Are You not from everlasting, O LORD, my God, My Holy One? We will not die. O LORD, You have appointed the Chaldeans [who rule in Babylon] to execute [Your] judgment, And You, O Rock, have established them to correct and chastise.

12 Habakkuk Complains Again Lord, you are the Lord who lives forever. You are my God, my holy God. You will not let those who trust you die. Lord, you have chosen the Babylonians to punish people. Our Rock, you created them to punish the people.

12 ADONAI, haven’t you existed forever? My God, my holy one, we will not die. ADONAI, you appointed them to execute judgment. Rock, you commissioned them to correct us.
