Jude 1

7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the adjacent cities, since they in the same way as these angels indulged in gross immoral freedom and unnatural vice and sensual perversity. They are exhibited [in plain sight] as an example in undergoing the punishment of everlasting fire.

Jude 1

7 [The wicked are sentenced to suffer] just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the adjacent towns — which likewise gave themselves over to impurity and indulged in unnatural vice and sensual perversity — are laid out [in plain sight] as an exhibit of perpetual punishment [to warn] of everlasting fire. ⓐ

7 Also Sodom and Gomorrah and the other cities near them show what will happen. The people there had wrong ways of using sex and did wrong things that people should not do with each other. They were punished and are in fire that burns for ever. God did this to show what will happen to others.

7 In just the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns nearby that pursued immorality and perverted sex are provided as an example of those that experience the punishment of eternal fire.

7 Even as S’dom [Burning] and ‘Amorah [a ruined heap], and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
