Nahum 1

15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of Him who brings good news, making it heard, Peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, fulfill your vows; for the wicked shall pass through you no more; he is completely cut off.

15 Look! A messenger is coming over the mountains, bringing good news and proclaiming peace. Judah, celebrate your religious festivals and keep your vows, for never again will wicked enemies invade your land—they will be completely destroyed.

15 Look to the mountains — the feet of the herald, ⓔ who proclaims peace. Celebrate your festivals, Judah; fulfill your vows. For the wicked one will never again march through you; he will be entirely wiped out.

15 Behold! upon the mountains the feet of him who brings good tidings [telling of the Assyrian’s death], who publishes peace! Celebrate your feasts, O Judah; perform your vows. For the wicked counselor [the king of Assyria] shall no more come against you or pass through your land; he is utterly cut off. ⓘ [Then the prophet Nahum sarcastically addresses his message to Nineveh:]

15 Look, there on the hills, someone is bringing good news! He is announcing peace! Celebrate your feasts, people of Judah. And do what you promised to God. The wicked will not attack you again. They have been completely destroyed.
