Titus 1

6 namely, a man of unquestionable integrity, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of being immoral or rebellious.

6 [These elders should be] men who are of unquestionable integrity and are irreproachable, the husband of [but] one wife, whose children are [well trained and are] believers, not open to the accusation of being loose in morals and conduct or unruly and disorderly.

6 The church leader must be a good man because he looks after Gods work. He must not want his own way. He must not get angry or get drunk. He must not fight. He must not try to get rich in wrong ways.

6 An elder must have a good reputation, the husband of one wife, and have children who believe and who are not accused of being wild or disobedient.

6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
