Romans 1

27 And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another — men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own [4]bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.

27 The men [16] in the same way also left natural relations with women and were inflamed in their lust for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men ⓖ and received in their own persons [17] the appropriate penalty of their error.

27 Their men also left the right way with women. They wanted to have sex with one another. They did wrong things with other men. Their own bodies were punished because of the wrong things they did.

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is inappropriate, and receiving in themselves that recompence (punishment for evil, reward) of their error which was meet.
