Amos 1

2 He said:The Lord roars from Zion, [2] and raises his voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds languish, and the summit of Carmel withers. [AB]

Amos 1

2 Amos said, "The LORD roars from Mount Zion; his voice thunders from Jerusalem. The pastures dry up, and the grass on Mount Carmel turns brown."

Amos 1

2 Amos said, “The LORD will shout like a lion in Zion. His loud voice will roar from Jerusalem. The green pastures of the shepherds will turn brown and die. Even Mount Carmel[1] will become dry.”

2 And he said, “יהוה roars from Tsiyon, and gives forth His voice from Yerushalayim. And the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Karmel shall wither.”
