18 They used to say to you, "In the last days there will be scoffers, following after their own ungodly passions."

18 They told you beforehand, In the last days (in the end time) there will be scoffers [who seek to gratify their own unholy desires], following after their own ungodly passions.

18 They said to you, At the end of time, men will come who will make fun of holy things. They will do the wrong things they themselves want to do.
