2 Corinthians 1:17 The Riverside New Testament RNT 1923 | 99 Bible versions Compare

2 Corinthians 1

17 Now because I changed my original plan, was I being unstable and capricious? Or what I plan, do I plan according to the flesh [like a worldly man], ready to say Yes, yes, [when it may mean] No, no?

2 Corinthians 1

17 Now when I planned this, was I of two minds? Or what I plan, do I plan in a purely human [6] ⓙ way so that I say “Yes, yes” and “No, no” at the same time?

2 Corinthians 1

17 Silvanus and Timothy and I told you about the Son of God, Jesus Christ. His word was not Yes and No. It was always Yes.

2 Corinthians 1

17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yes yes, and No No?

2 Corinthians 1

17 [23]When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or mind I those things which I mind, according to the [24]flesh, that with me should be, [25]Yea, yea, and Nay, nay?

2 Corinthians 1

17 Therefore, I was not vacillating when I intended to do this, was I? Or what I decide, do I decide according to the flesh, so that with me there will be [12]yes, yes and no, no at the same time?

2 Corinthians 1

17 When I planned this, did I do it carelessly? Or do I make my plans by human standards, so as to say “Yes, yes” when I really mean “No, no”?

2 Corinthians 1

17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yes yes, and no no?

2 Corinthians 1

17 Then purposing this, did I indeed use lightness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose them according to the flesh, so that with me there should be yes, yes, and no, no?

2 Corinthians 1

17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I do it carelessly? Or the things that I decide to do, do I decide according to the flesh, that with me there should be yes yes, and no no?
