21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and abundance of evil, and receive with meekness the implanted word, (o. logos) which is able to save your souls.

21 Therefore, put away all filth and evil excess and humbly welcome the word that has been planted in you and is able to save your souls. [AL]

21 wherefore having put aside all filthiness and superabundance of evil, in meekness be receiving the engrafted word, that is able to save your souls;

21 So then, leave all uncleanness and remains of malice and receive with meekness the word ingested within you, which is able to cause your souls to be saved.
