Lamentations 1

17 Zion stretches out her hands, with no one to comfort her; The Lord has ordered against Jacob his foes all around; Jerusalem has become in their midst a thing unclean.

17 "I stretch out my hands, but no one will help me. The LORD has called enemies against me from every side; They treat me like some filthy thing.

17 Zion spread out her hands. There was no one to comfort her. The LORD had given orders to Jacob’s enemies. He ordered them to surround the city. Jerusalem has become a dirty rag that her enemies threw away.

17 Tsiyon spreads out her hands, There is no comforter for her. יהוה has commanded concerning Ya‛aqoḇ, His neighbours are his adversaries. Yerushalayim has become an uncleanness among them.
