Romans 1

20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], ⓑ

Romans 1

20 For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, ⓛ being understood through what he has made. ⓜ As a result, people are without excuse.

20 People cannot see that God has power which lasts for ever. They cannot see that he is really God. But ever since he made the world, he has clearly shown this by the things he made. So they cannot say, I did not know about God.
