4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river Euphrates — all the land of the [1]Hittites [Canaan] — and to the Great [Mediterranean] Sea on the west shall be your territory.

5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
