23 And her husband Elqanah said to her, “Do what is good in your eyes. Remain until you have weaned him. Only let יהוה establish His word.” And the woman remained and nursed her son until she had weaned him.

24 And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, [1] and one ĕphah of flour, and a skin of wine, and brought him to the House of יהוה in Shiloh. And the child was young.

25 And they slew a bull, and brought the child to Ěli.
