22 And δὲCONJ when he came out, ἐξελθὼνV-AAP-NSM he was unable οὐκADV ἐδύνατοV-IMI-3S to speak λαλῆσαιV-AAN to them, αὐτοῖς·P-DPM and καὶCONJ they realized ἐπέγνωσανV-AAI-3P that ὅτιCONJ he had seen ἑώρακενV-XAI-3S a vision ὀπτασίανN-ASF in ἐνPREP the τῷT-DSM temple. ναῷ.N-DSM And καὶCONJ he αὐτὸςP-NSM kept making signs ἦνV-IAI-3S διανεύωνV-PAP-NSM to them αὐτοῖςP-DPM and καὶCONJ remained διέμενενV-IAI-3S mute. κωφός.A-NSM

22 When he came out, he could not speak to them, and so they knew that he had seen a vision in the Temple. Unable to say a word, he made signs to them with his hands.
